Prior completion of our ASIC Deployment Masterclass or verifiable experience operating air-cooled mining hardware.
Detailed Practical Outcomes
- Understanding dielectric fluid chemistry: synthetic hydrocarbons vs fluorochemicals, flash points, and elastomer compatibility.
- Sizing brazed plate heat exchangers, magnetic-drive circulation pumps, and closed-loop dry coolers.
- Preparing ASIC units for fluid submersion: fan spoofing, thermal paste removal, and gasket sealing.
- Plumbing a secondary hydronic heating loop to heat a workshop floor or domestic hot water pre-tank.

Fluid Dynamics & Dielectric Mechanics
Fluid properties, natural convection vs forced laminar flow, flow rate calculation (LPM per kW), and tank design.

Hardware Conversion Lab
Stripping air fans, installing PWM fan emulators, cleaning boards with specialty solvents, and tank loading.

Hydronic Heat Exchangers & Dry Coolers
Connecting secondary water loops, radiator sizing for 40°C Australian summer ambients, and failsafe cutoff switches.
Scope & Inclusions
